| GUNA hosts two clinical meetings per year (March, incorporating our Annual General Meeting, and October, which includes a Business Meeting). Meetings are arranged to provide and facilitate professional updating for GUNA members, to ensure their practice is consistent with current developments with the speciality, and evidence based. Certificates of attendance are issued, which can be placed in members professional portfolios, and count as evidence towards meeting PREP requirements and KSF gateway assessments. The Committee, through continued sponsorship from commercial sponsors, try to keep the cost of attending the Clinical Meetings to a fixed price of £25 for GUNA members (£150 for non members) For commercial sponsors interested in supporting a future meeting (includes logo displayed on all advertising and promotional material, and a trade stand during the meeting), please contact our Publicity Officer. Meetings are strictly rotated, on a North-South, East-West basis, in an attempt to be as 'inclusive' as possible for our UK wide membership. Clinical Meetings are always held on Saturdays, again in an attempt to facilitate ease of attendance for members. When holding Clinical Meetings, the Committee liaise and link with GUNA members at the local GU clinic, and where possible, meetings end with a tour of the local clinic. Any senior nurses who are interested in hosting a future clinical meeting should contact the Chair. | ||||||||||||||
